Landscape Photography
This term we are looking at the theme of landscape and started by taking some close-up photos around the school. Students then used Photoshop to create a collage, play with filter and lastly layers and blending modes.
Still Life
Students created these still life images using Photoshop. After looking at the symbolism of objects used in Dutch vanitas painting, students used objects which symbolized something about themselves.
Still Life paintings
We arranged a still life in the classroom and drew our observations. Students then added tone with acrylic paint to create these lovely paintings.
Students looked at the still life paintings of Paul Cezanne and then drew a section of one using oil crayons on black paper. Check out these great results!
These artworks are such nice quality for Year 7, I am sure the students must be proud of their efforts. The landscape photos are quite sophisticated in the way they explore abstract qualities.
